ALLNC is All Network Consulting. I work for Commercial Connection in Minneapolis. I do IT in most ways such as Web design, Networking, Security camera systems, and Wildlife photography is my biggest hobby on my own site outdoors.photos, link on the left. I can help with setup for email setups, connections, all the way up to network connections for the home or office.

I love doing web design, but I am not current with the new and fancy apps and gadgets.

The links on the left are a few sites I own Outdoors Photos and I work on Lewis Landing in South Dakota.

Enjoy!

There is a new scam that I have been following. The scammers put a Sponsored ad on Google claiming that they are support for Xfinity. When you search Google the come up on top. They will answer their phones Xfinity Support. While they do that they are on the Xfinity site asking for your phone number. When you give it to them they enter in in and tell you to give them the code. At that point they have total access to all our Xfinity profile. So it sounds like they are ligit. They will try to offer updated service or if you are having problems send someone out for a $99.00 fee. at either one of these they will take out more then they say from your credit card.
If you need support from Xfinity just go to Xfinity.com and get the number off of there site!

If receive a call from a large company like Amazon, Norton, McCafee, Paypal, Microsoft Or call them because of an ad, email, or pop-up ad or screen that says that you have a virus. Any of these occur? Hang up and disconnect your computer from the internet. They put software on your computer.

  • They ask you to be in front of your computer
  • Ask you to a website to download software like anydesk
  • They ask you to login to the bank
  • They say your computer is compromised

  • So they can have you download software to access you computer
To download software to have control of your computer
If you login to your bank they see your password clearly
They do a fake directory read to have you think something is going on

If they get into your bank they will modify your webpage showing that they give you too much? Just refresh the page and everything will return to normal.

If any told that your bank account has received money they say was transferred? Just look at the bank from another computer or cell phone and see that the account has not been changed.

I am going to link a lot of Anti Scammer videos and links here such as @ScammerPayback, @KitbogaShow, @KarlRock, @TrilogyMedia, @RinoaPoison, @Deeveeaar, and @irlrosie. These links are YouTube channels that will help identify if you are being scammed. Watch them. They are both funny and educational. Also, it is vital that if you are into security you need to see these videos. There are links that the scammers are asking their victims to go to. I have these links in my blocked links on my firewall so that any employees here hit a screen that says "You are going to a site that being blocked. If you need to access this site let your admin know.

There are scams out such as Amazon and Paypal saying that you purchased $1500 iPhone, McCafee. Renewed subscription $399 or $499, IRS... They found the car you rented with a body, Computer hacked... Need to secure all your money in your back into bit coins to secure it, Purchase antivirus or clean out the computer, Computer locked... Call this number, I just got the Norton subscription expiring today, and last but not least the Paypal... Unauthorized purchase. these are some of the call or email types that get you to respond so that they can access your computer. They do this so they can have control of you banking or amazon. I just got the Norton subscription expiring today.

If you get an email that is from amazon? Don't be fooled if it is coming from Amazoncustomercare@gmail of something like that. If it is not from amazon.com... It is not from Amazon. Any big name business like Amazon, Paypal, McCafee, Intuit, Target, Geek Squad, or anyone of the places that they are emailing you about with a Gmail account... Don't answer or call it! Especially the IRS or FBI

Also... A scammer will connect to your computer and install ConnectWise or Screenconnect on your computer. They will have you login to your bank. When you see dots in the password, they see plain text. When you are asleep or away from your computer they they will try to transfer funds from your bank to they mule.

    Don't be fooled!

  • I received this email today saying that I purchased an iPhone using Paypal. There is a few things to look for. I deal with Paypal through my work. First thing to look at is where the email is from. It is from a Gmail account. This is disturbing. When someone like Paypal, Amazon, Intuit, McCafee, Norton, or any other big name they are using will not come from a Gmail account. AND! The IRS does not email you with amounts due. IRS emails will be from irs.gov or near that AND the account for Paypal is incorrect Here is an example of a scam email. SAMPLE 1! 1. The email is from a Gmail address and 2. is not my Paypal account name and there is no San Bernardino Illinois.

  • If you hit a wrong page and you see this SAMPLE 2! just exit out, it is fake. Do not click on allow. If you click on Allow or even close you will see this SAMPLE 3! It is fake!.

  • I received this email SAMPLE 4! today wanting to sell me stamps. Has a nice USPS logo on the top of the page. But!!! You will not receive the stamps and your credit card might be cleaned out. Look at where the email is coming from. Even if it is real they would have a company domain.

  • I heard this morning that the IRS and FBI are emailing or calling to open banking accounts for credit relief. If you get an email that is not from fbi.gov or the IRS from irs.gov. Do not answer them. The scammers may even call asking to deposit money into a bitcoin atm or ask for gift cards of any kind. DON'T!!!!

  • I received another USPS scam text today. Keeping in mind that the scammer impersonate other businesses such as this one USPS. USPS in the Philippines? If it was from USPS it would be an email from USPS SAMPLE 5!

  • If you are worried about your account with any of the companies. Keeping in mind that the scammer will tell you that there will be problems if you call them. CALL THEM!!!

  • If you ever has a scammer access your PC you must get help. This is the best way to remove the scammers access to your computer when you are away. Aura. I heard about this on sites that help fight against scams. This software is safe
